Beard Contest and PRT Cram Highlight WVU's Mountaineer Week

This news from Morgantown, West Virginia:

MORGANTOWN - West Virginia University's celebrated Mountaineer Week with the annual PRT cram and beard shaving competition.

In the PRT cram, students had 5 minutes to get as many people as they could in the car from the university's Personal Rapid Transit monorail system.

A final tally for the winning team was not available, but the previous record was set back in 2000 with 97 students.

In the beard growing contest, the guys had three weeks to grow their beards.

The winner was senior Jason Gross. He said before this competition, he's never even grown a beard before.

A source tells me Sherburne County's most prominent PRT promoter may be in the process of losing his beard too.
