Larry Fabian Says He Isn't Gloating...

Larry Fabian, the Treasurer for ATRA, a group that promotes Personal Rapid Transit sent me another e-mail;

Who's gloating?

I simply pity your dismal attitude that is so determined to block progress. Do you somehow think the current urban transport situation is sustainable? Your intelligence and talent shouldn't allow such obvious short-sightedness.

Larry Fabian

Happy that a 30-year cycle of technological stagnation -- spanning both of our main political parties -- is over.

Although Olson sponsored a PRT amendment in the last legislative session, it is unlikely that he will mention PRT again at the legislature. The House leader, Margaret Keliher spoke against PRT in 2004 and she won't allow a PRT bill to go anywhere as long as she's in charge.

In Minnesota, it's all over for PRT... 'nuff said.
