I am wondering what happened when former Senator Kevin Chandler (DFL) of White Bear Lake got in trouble for something similar when he slapped his wife in a parking lot in front of a number of witnesses? If I recall, he had to apologize to the Senate. Does anyone have any more details on this case? What other cases have there been regardless of party afiliation?
Love the beater, hate the object of his beating (the wife).
The senator should have been tossed out and was not. Now the same: looks like Marky Mark will escape with "everyone has personal responsibility and suffers the consequence (except me)."

The new Republican "family values" position:
"Someone else did it, so it's okay."
Typical minnesota morality:
Love the beater, hate the object of his beating (the wife).

"everyone has personal responsibility
and suffers the consequence (except me)."
